mixed feelings about this resort

food quality room decoration

My stay started well enough. the island is pretty. however, i faced several disappointments. the food quality declined significantly during dinner. it was like the staff cared less, and the food tasted worse. I went to bed hungry most nights. also, i asked for room decorations for a birthday but that request was completely ignored.

Helengeli, A amazing escape!

smooth transfer dolphin adventure amazing crew best food

This resort transfer was seamless! The sunset cruise turned into a dolphin-watching adventure. It was very nice. I really enjoyed the traditional fishing trip. The crew were amazing (their local knowledge was excellent!). The food at Raga Route was some of the best I have eaten. Huge congratulations to the chef and team!

The app was needed for many services. it could be slow to get responses to messages sometimes. I had to walk to the dive center to confirm excursion details (a small inconvenience).

The Just Grill restaurant offered a sophisticated beachfront dining experience. It offered delicious food plus good wine options. The Spice restaurant featured a wide variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There was a great selection for all.

The island had a fine house reef that was great for snorkeling. Marine life was abundant with turtles and colourful fish. The island is beautifully maintained and the pier is a great spot for sunset photos. It is so picturesque.

limited minibar expensive excursions

The minibar situation was AWFUL. It only had two small cans of beer stocked daily, I don't even drink beer. The cancellation policy for included activities was also annoying. Paddle boards, kayaks, boats, and fishing trips were all called off because of some weather. Anything extra cost a fortune.
